
Adrian Chew graduated from Wichita State University with a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy, where he studied under Dr. Andrew Trechak. He also earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at Wichita State University under the guidance of Dr. Julie Bees. He is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Piano Performance at George Mason University, where he studies with Dr. Anna Balakerskaia and serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the piano department.
Adrian has participated in masterclasses with distinguished pianists including Leon Fleisher, Joyce Yang, Stewart Goodyear, Albert Tiu, Gabriela Martinez, DingYuan Zhang, Dzmitry Ulasiuk, Stephanie Leon Shames, Jeffrey Siegel, and Brian Ganz.
With over nine years of private teaching experience, Adrian previously served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the piano department at Wichita State University for two years.
Adrian is deeply passionate about sharing classical music with diverse audiences. He believes that everyone possesses an innate musical and artistic potential, and he is committed to nurturing his students toward becoming their most authentic and expressive artistic selves.
